Dasha: Finally - CD

In 2017, the singer Dasha released her solo album, aptly titled Konečně! (Finally!). Surprisingly for many, it features neither swing evergreens with a big band, nor musical melodies or well-known covers, but original songs written specifically for her.

Under the guidance of producer David Solař, a repertoire was assembled that allows her to showcase her vocal range while sounding contemporary, modern, and confident.
In the final stages of preparation, they chose from twenty songs that they unreservedly liked. She even recorded almost all of them to see how she felt in them. Only then did they make the final selection of ten tracks.

A distinctive feature of the album is its excellent sound, which is the result of a generous recording approach. Significant space was given not only to 'live' instruments but also to the studio work of all participants. The musicians include David Solař (piano and programming), Tomáš Brožek and Ondřej Sluka (drums), Martin Lehký (bass), Peter Binder (guitars), Camilo Caller (percussion), the Epoque Quartet, a brass section, and others. The individual final mixes were then handled by Petr Kaláb, Steve Walsh, Daniel Hádl, and Dušan Lippert.
