leads a quiet, uncomplicated and mediocre life. He works as a bank teller and his marriage to Miriam is a happy one, though after all these years of harmony together, it's slowly sliding off the rails into the boredom station. But the turning point will not be long in coming. A deviation from life's routine comes in the form of a masked bank robber. He not only chooses Till's car to escape from the bank, but also packs its owner in the trunk as a hostage. And when this bandit on the run takes off his mask, Till discovers that it's a guy named Nappo Navroki (Moritz Bleibtreu), who had applied for a loan at their bank in vain some time ago. When Till recovers from the initial shock, he surprisingly realises that he is not entirely averse to such a dose of adventure. You could say that he almost willingly sets out with his kidnapper on another crazy operation, which is linked by words like Amsterdam, bonds, mafiosi from the East and the Cayman Islands. Till's financial skills suddenly come in quite handy for his captors, and slowly but surely his current hostage begins to become an accomplice. The time has come for him to throw away prejudice, decorum and all caution, and plunge headlong with Nappo into the world of crime and criminals.
