HUNTING A SERIAL KILLER. HE DOESN’T REALISE HE MIGHT BE THE NEXT VICTIM…

Chief Inspector Michael Lambert is convinced he has just closed his last case, but then a file detailing a particularly gruesome crime lands in his hands. It is immediately clear to him that this is no ordinary murder. He knows the modus operandi all too well.

The cold-blooded killer, nicknamed the Soul Snatcher, always removed his victims' eyes and carved a Latin inscription into their chests: In oculis animus habitat. The soul dwells in the eyes. He last struck eighteen years ago, and one of the victims was a close friend of Lambert’s.

The police are forced to reopen this cold case, and Lambert begins his investigation to finally bring the killer to justice. But as the body count rises, the Chief Inspector begins to realise that he himself may soon become the next victim…
