It seems that the magic of Banská Štiavnica and the mysterious deaths shrouded in secrecy will be beyond him.
The photographer Kornel Karovič and the journalist Žaneta come to Banská Štiavnica to write an article about young men buried in an old mine. Karovič gradually discovers that Žaneta is from that town and meets his former summer love Johanna, who has since become a policewoman. While exploring a long-closed mine, Karovič becomes entangled in mysterious events from which there is no way out.
