Death: Scream Bloody Gore Relapse

LP Record Death's debut album, Scream Bloody Gore, released in 1987, is a seminal work in the death metal genre. Characterised by fast, aggressive riffs, guttural vocals and blistering solos, the album is a death metal tour de force. Tracks like "Zombie Ritual" and "Mutilation" are some of the band's most iconic works, and the album's overall intensity is second to none. While it may not be their most technically proficient album, Scream Bloody Gore is one of the most brutal and uncompromising death metal albums ever created. It's no wonder so many death metal bands have cited it as an influence over the years.
