Delaney & Bonnie: Home (Edition 2019) - LP

1969' s Home is a debut LP on Stax Records by Delaney & Bonnie - a soul with a rainbow with blue eyes, which consists of married singers and composers Delaney and Bonnie Bramlett.

Both artists came from impressive backgrounds (Delaney played with acclaimed composer Leon Russell in the home band for the TV show Shindig!, while Bonnie played with legendary blues guitarist Albert King when she was still a teenager).

Their debut album, Home, featured an impressive lineup of talents, including Russell, Booker T. and The M. G. and members of the Memphis Horns. Produced by Donald “Duck“ Dunn and Don Nix, Home offers a selection of original materials from the couple, plus songs by the duo Isaac Hayes and David Porter and Steve Cropper.

This reissue includes songs like “Hard to Say Goodbye“, “Just Simple Beautiful“ and “It' s a Long Time Ago,“ as well as a blues rendition of “A Piece of My Heart“ - the famous Janis Joplin and Big Brother and Holding Company.
