Delilah Green Doesn't Care

Delilah Green swore she would never go back to Bright Falls—there’s nothing for her there but memories of a lonely childhood. Now she lives in New York, her photography career is finally starting to take off, and her bed is never empty. Sure, it’s a different woman every night, but Delilah has no problem with that.

When she gives in to emotional blackmail from her estranged stepsister to photograph her wedding for a tempting sum, Delilah finds herself back in Bright Falls. Originally, she just wanted to get it over with and disappear again, but then she meets Claire Sutherland, one of Astrid’s best friends, and decides that she might just enjoy her stay after all—and get a little revenge in the process.

Claire, who has mostly raised her daughter on her own, is dealing with an unreliable ex, owns her own bookshop, and leads a rather monotonous life. Delilah Green’s arrival is an unwelcome surprise… at least at first. Although they’ve known of each other for years, they don’t actually know each other at all—so Claire is unsettled by the way Delilah seems to know just how to push her buttons. When circumstances throw them together during the many pre-wedding events, Claire is no longer sure she has the strength to resist Delilah’s charm. And worse, she's starting to think she doesn’t want to resist at all…
