Divokej Bill: Tsunami - LP

Wild Bill' s seventh row is here!

The album, Tsunami, is released four years after the last platinum-winning album, titled 15.

The songs for Bill' s new album have been collecting for a long time, some have been created completely new in the meantime since the last album, others have been developed for many years and have been waiting to be rendered.

In the end, a dozen new songs were recorded during the first months of 2017, and Vašek Bláha and Roman Procházka contributed the most to them. The overall arrangements are, as always, a joint work of the entire band and the producer Pavel Karlík also made a large contribution. In addition to the usual instrumental composition, we can also look forward to wind accordion in some songs performed by banjo player Jack, Jurd' s double bass or string passages, which is the responsibility of the Apollon Quartet, and we can also hear synthetic sounds.

Thematically, the album is such a “Bill' s classic“, ie all-tasting. The lyrics are about freedom, camaraderie, love, a lot about joy a little about spleen, but also about parties and life with a band. There is also a popular naval theme. And it is the navy song Naděje hides a very interesting story, when one of the members of the band wrote each stanza and sang it on the record.

Another interesting feature is the song Land of Dragons. It was formed at the instigation of graphic artist and writer Jan Bodrov, who asked the band for a song for his fantasy book.

The album also includes last year' s single of the same name, Tsunami, the current Kořala and others.
