A literary collage by Czech actor and director Miroslav Krobot
Snippets, reflections, nonsense, memories, short stories. Important. Fun. Incidental. Bizarre. Fictional. Personal. Intimate. Do not read!
In this collection of quiet, humorous, and mischievous texts, the film and theatre director, teacher, actor, and screenwriter Miroslav Krobot explores his key themes: the adventurer Eskymo Welzl, theatre, actors, the Jeseníky mountains, quantum physics, beatniks, and memories of his own mother and November '89. He does so with inventive and distinctive restraint, formally flitting between reflection, short story, letter, and script excerpt.
Krobot's literary debut is playfully accompanied by illustrations and original graphic design by the young artist Julie Čermáková.
