Doors: Soft Parade - LP

Newly remastered recording!
The Soft Parade is the fourth studio album by the American rock group The Doors. It was recorded between 1968 and 1969 and officially released on 25 June 1969.
Upon its release, it was met with criticism from fans and music journalists alike, as the band used strings and brass instruments, which did not quite fit the sound of The Doors. After its release, the band returned to their original playing style on the subsequent albums Morrison Hotel and L.A. Woman.

Fun fact: this is the first The Doors album where individual authors are credited for specific songs.

The American rock band The Doors, which formed in Los Angeles in 1965, is one of the most important groups in music history. The Doors' existence was tragically cut short by the death of singer Jim Morrison in 1971, yet their work continues to appeal to new listeners to this day.
