Dorůžka David: Autumn Tales - CD

Guitarist and composer David Dorůžka, a leading and highly acclaimed representative of the Czech jazz scene, whose significance and activities transcend Czech borders, comes up with the album “Autumn Tales“ almost ten years after the creation of his previous author' s album “Silently Dawning“, although in the meantime projects of other artists.

The backbone of the album, recorded in a classical guitar trio with acoustic rhythms, are Dorůžek' s own compositions, but for inspiration and repertoire the author also used sources of Jewish music, works by Bohuslav Martinů or Czech interwar popular jazz.
