Dyk Vojtech & B-Side Band: Board

The first studio album by singer Vojtěch Dyk and the B-Side Band, led by bandleader Josef Buchta. This extraordinary combination of a distinctive vocal personality and a top-class musical group presents a studio project with a completely new repertoire, created for the singer and the band by leading Czech writers such as Ondřej Brousek, Boris Urbánek, and B-Side Band's bassist Tomáš Vunderle Koudelka, among others. The final sound of the entire record was handled by Phil Bulla from Platinium Productions in New York (USA), who has five Grammy nominations for sound to his name and has worked on recordings with such greats as Whitney Houston, Billy Joel, Christina Aguilera, and the renowned group Chicago. As a sound engineer, he is often invited to concerts by artists like Steve Gadd, Chick Corea, Christian McBride, Phil Woods, Clark Terry, Bob Mintzer, and Roy Hargrove. Of the 40 records he has worked on, 3 were nominated for a Grammy. The album's release was supported by a Czech-Slovak tour in spring 2015, with every concert sold out to the very last seat.
