Dyk Vojtěch: D. Y. K. - LP

Vojtěch Dyk recorded his solo album D.Y.K. in New York. He surrounded himself with top-notch musicians, led by Grammy winner Ondřej Pivec. With first-class musicians and creative freedom behind him, singer Vojtěch Dyk's new album, D.Y.K., was born.
The first taste of the album was the playful and danceable single "Mr. Beat", inspired by Rowan Atkinson and his character Mr. Bean.

"I had been considering the idea of recording an album abroad for about nine years. I wanted to break out of the comfort zone of the Czech Republic, where I know almost everyone in the music industry, and take another step forward—into my creative core, my musical universe, a world without borders. Thanks to Ondřej Pivec and his band Kennedy Administration, I created my uncompromisingly free CD in New York," explains Vojtěch Dyk, who has long been musically associated with the Brno-based B-Side Band, led by bandleader Josef Buchta.
