ECG for nurses

The book is intended as a basic tool for teaching nurses in the cardiology department and for teaching nursing studies. In a simple and clear manner, it introduces the reader to the basic principles of ECG, basic physiological and pathological findings, and summarizes specific basic nurse procedures for pathological ECG findings. After reading it, nurses will be proficient in physiological ECG and will be able to diagnose basic rhythm disorders. On the basis of this competence, which is stipulated by Decree of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic No. 424/2004 Coll., they will be able to take the necessary measures resulting from the needs of the patient. The book is in two colours and for maximum clarity the text is supplemented with rich visual documentation (79 pictures in total), consisting of ECG curves, pen drawings and black and white photographs.
