Echo & The Bunnymen: Porcupine - LP
As part of the reissue campaign, the first four albums by Echo & the Bunnymen are available on vinyl. Porcupine's third full-length album, 1983's Porcupine, is the post-punk band's most successful record in terms of UK album chart position, reaching number two.
Echo & the Bunnymen is a British post-punk music group formed in 1978 in Liverpool. The original line-up was Ian McCulloch, guitarist Will Sergeant and bassist Les Pattinson. Shortly afterwards, drummer Pete de Freitas joined the band and with this line-up they recorded their first album, Crocodiles. McCulloch left the band in 1988 and Noel Burke took his place. Drummer Freitas died in 1989 and Damon Reece came in as his replacement. Keyboardist Jake Brockman was in the band for a while. The group broke up in 1993, but was reformed in 1996 by McCulloch, Sergeant and Pattinson. The latter left shortly afterwards and since then the band has been working as a duo.
