Eduard Fiker: Corn knows everything

The hero of Fiker's detective story is the famous Detective T. B. Corn, a retired police commissioner who has no desire or reason to get involved in solving a new crime. However, the suspicious double deaths of the Annesleys' father and son and the somewhat reckless actions of the ambitious young Sergeant Malory finally get the investigators off their chairs.
