Elan: Dangerous Cargo - CD

Two years after the mega-successful Detektívka, Elán recorded and released their sixth studio album Nebezpečný náklad (Dangerous Cargo) in 1988 with a new line-up formed after the departure of V. Patejdla in 1986. The tribal duo Ráž-Baláž was supplemented by keyboard player M. Karvaš, who also co-wrote the songs, and drummer G. Szabo. The basic line-up was completed by notable guests (M. Kochanský, A. Spring, D. Huscava and J. Fabric), while the whole album was again lyrics by Boris Filan. The album brings another collection of typically elan songs, many of which are still very popular today.

Jozef Ráž (solo vocal, bass guitar), Ján Baláž (solo vocal, guitars), Martin Karvas (solo vocal, keyboard instruments), Gabriel Szabó (percussion) and guests: Ján Fabrický (drums), Anton Jaro (bass guitar), Dušan Húščava (tenor saxophone), Marián Kochanský (vocals)
