Epydemye: Dear Children - CD

Epydemye, a band from South Bohemia and winner of a genre Anděl award for their last album Kotlina (Basin), released their fourth album in the autumn of 2019.

Milé děti (Dear Children) is an insight into the lives of three parents. Soaring highs, steep falls, loves, desires and children who turn life upside down. “While on Kotlina we worked with stories from the 20th century, now we are focusing on the present. On what we are currently living through. It's a picture of our lives, joys, loves, successes, troubles and failures. A picture whose composition, colours and details are finally starting to make sense precisely because of our children,” says the band, adding that the album can also be understood as a “message in a bottle” that their children will one day understand.

The album was created in June 2019, once again under the production supervision of Dalibor Cidlinský Jr. and with musical guests: guitarist Josef Štěpánek, drummer David Landštof and bassist Jan Cidlinský. The artwork was created by Veronika Pasterná Szemlová.
