Erika de Casier: Sensational CLR

LP Record Denmark, and its capital Copenhagen in particular, has been a great place for young artists for years. One of these talents is Erika de Casier, a new signing to the long-established British indie label 4AD. Born in Portugal to Belgian and Cape Verdean parents, she grew up in Ribe, Denmark. After appearing on tracks by DJ Central and Sovereign, she began working on her debut album, "Essentials", which was released in 2019. It was included in the best albums of the year lists by Pitchfork, Mixmag, FACT, Crack and Dummy magazines. Now, the eagerly awaited follow-up, titled "Sensational", is ready for release on 4AD. For Erika de Casier, the new album is like an older sister to its predecessor.
