Factory: Factory - LP

The factory belongs to the bands that emerged in the years just before the Velvet Revolution. Their star shone briefly in the early 1990s, when the band reached the greatest response, and then quietly disappeared into the labyrinth of new times. The band of distinctive name comes from the past of dusty Central Bohemian Kladno. That' s why she was a little out of the main punk scene, which is most visible in our metropolis. On the other hand, she may have been able to keep her face special. Even today, thirty years after its rise, Fabrika is one of the first in many minds to raise the question of the Kladno punk scene. In a traditional three-member cast, its members were able to create a distinctive timeless style on domestic borders on the border of old British punk and subsequent new-wave or post-punk bands. The special character of the music is complemented by lyrics that often have a strong anti-militaristic message. Despite participating in the legendary period compilation Rebelie Punk' n' Oi, the band never recorded their own record. It' s only coming out now. The basis of the album, called simply “Fabrika“, is a previously unreleased demo from 1988, supplemented by several songs from concert recordings. The album is dedicated to Smích (Fabrika' s bassist), who unfortunately did not see its release.
