Farm animals

The allegorical novel begins with a revolt of the animals, who drive out the owner of the farm and start to rule themselves. The initially noble, idealistic ideas of equality, freedom and prosperity soon take their place and are gradually replaced by propaganda, unfreedom and totalitarian dictatorship. The animal government honors the sacred seven commandments, the most important of which is the seventh - All animals are equal! As it turns out, however, some are more equal... The fable, which was completed in 1944, has since become a cult work that holds up a mirror to all forms of dictatorship.
