Flare
The pile of ashes was a human body just yesterday. Lieutenant Volf's next case
The second book with Tomáš Volf, for which Jiří Březina received the Jiří Marek Award for the best detective story.
A supernatural phenomenon, a strange coincidence, or a subtle effort to destroy evidence? It's a case that makes even an experienced fire investigator shake his head. Finding answers will certainly not be easy. Lieutenant Tomáš Volf did not exactly fit in with his new colleagues at his new posting in Prague and is now alone in a complex investigation. Will returning to a closed case that began with the similarly gruesome discovery of a charred human body help him? But it could be that they stumble upon something that changes the lives of several people.
