Fleetwood Mac: Rumors - CD

But the beginning of the great success of the band was connected with the beginning of personal problems of all members of the band. Christine and John McVie' s marriage fell apart, so did Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckinghem' s long-standing partnership, and to make matters worse, drummer Mick Fleetwood divorced his wife.

Meanwhile, the second even more successful album Rumors was released, which was released in 1977. This album is one of the 10 best-selling albums in the world of all time. In 1977, nothing but Dreams, Go Your Own Way, Don' t Stop, Gold Dust Woman or You Make Loving Fun was heard on US radio.

The lyrics to these songs are mostly about the breakup of the band members' relationships. The song Go Your Own Way is Lindsey' s message for Stevie, Dreams is again Stevie' s farewell to Lindsey. This album was followed by a worldwide tour. In 1978, Fleetwood Mac won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year.
