Flora
The secret of the Steppe and the bond that will endure.
"Adam and Sara, long-time partners, find a strange creature on their nightly return home and decide to take it to their grandmother's cottage and call the vet the next day. The cottage is located in Stepi, a part of the city that is gradually turning into a rumble strip with the last of its bold and peculiar inhabitants. Flora - that's what they call "it" - doesn't look like anything familiar or alive, but Sara gradually forms a bond with it. The couple decides to stay in Steppe and take care of Flora despite everything and everyone.
Flora is the prose debut of poet Jonáš Zbořil. A tender and frightening novel with elements of dystopia about parenthood, it also tells of the new nature that is being created under our hands. "

They wrote about the book:
Flora is a revelation. The story of love and the new world that will one day cover everything will grow in your head until only Zbořil's austere, striking images remain.
- Marek Torcik
