Flying Angels

Bestselling author Danielle Steel brings an inspirational story about a group of brave women during the Second World War. The year is 1941, and in the aftermath of the devastating loss of life following the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, friends Audrey and Lizzie are left feeling desperate after they both lose someone close to them. As they come to terms with their grief, their determination to play a significant role in the war effort grows. These trained nurses volunteer for the Army Air Corps medical unit and are sent to England, where they join a team flying dangerous missions to the front line. Audrey and Lizzie come to understand the meaning of friendship, bravery, and loyalty to themselves. But when the war is over, will they be able to accept one of the greatest challenges of all – to open their hearts to love again?
