Book of memories of Jiří Čáslavský Slápoty
Nice, funny, sometimes tenderly naive memories not only of childhood, parent, sister Liduška and brother Karel, many years later, the famous film historian and creator of the legendary Videostop and In Search of Lost Time. It is a few years after the war and for a boy from Lipnice nad Sázavou, the world is beginning to reveal its first secrets.
For many years, the inhabitants of the Czech countryside could meet Jiří Čáslavský (1947) at the screening of a travelling summer cinema. He drove a good bit of the way with a tractor and a marquee. Digitization put an end to his passion. The time of memories written in the book of Footsteps has come.
