Forgotten: Jesnou - CD

The project Zapomělsem, behind which is the Jesenik singer-songwriter Aleš Macenauer, comes after a two-year break with a new album called Jesnou.
The compositions in the form of collage fragments tell the story of a lit night city, with spaceships flying over it, on the inner blocks, into which the stars fall, and over which the spirits on the rooftops whisper, that we're gonna be drunk. Moments of magical realism in a time of pervasive cynicism. A sonically playful record that comes from indie-folk roots, but is wrapped in electronic arrangements and hints at post-punk, IDM and hyperpop, yet maintains consistency. Jesenic melancholy at a party in Brno.
