Forgotten Light (remastered version) - DVD

The story of a village parish priest who fights with state officials and senior church officials to save his church takes place in the late 1980s.
For the parish priest Holý (Bolek Polívka), faith in God represents an unshakable value and, moreover, he struggles with the feeling of his own uselessness and helplessness when faced with the illness of his beloved Marjane. He is equally helpless before a socialist regime that arrogantly destroys material and spiritual values.
