Franta Uher: Roots / CD + DVD

Total CD time: 51:57, DVD: 51:52
Franta Uher and his latest album complete on CD and DVD.
Perhaps somewhat surprisingly, his fans will not find folk songs, brass bands or dulcimers on it this time. Franta Uher sang thirteen songs by his Lanžhot friend Dalibor Sokol, accompanied by guitars, keyboards, saxophone and drums. Although the songs are wrapped in a modern sound attire, they do not lack folklore or moravianism. Sensitive arrangements enhance the melody of the songs, and Franta Uher confirms in each of them that his voice is like a bell and that he doesn' t have to worry about genre boxing. He sings convincingly sluggishly long and rock-fast melodies. The lyrics are also varied in lyrics, there is a love for a girl and a native region, the right boyish fury and more serious topics.
