From mom to pilgrim

Is the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela really as miraculous and unforgettable as it is claimed to be? Are miracles really happening on it, as everyone says? Is it even possible that he can change you? And does it really make you believe in angels? The book is a very intimate story of a woman who decided to leave her three-year-old child and her husband at home to embark on a pilgrimage to find herself again and heal all that was weighing her down and making it difficult to be a good mother and wife. The book is not only about knowledge and awareness, about meeting angels in human form, about miracles, that are happening, about the message, that help, about dreams, that are coming true, but also about sadness, of suffering, joys and various curiosities, that you may encounter along the way. Because nothing happens by accident. Let alone on this pilgrimage. KRISTÝNA JANÁČKOVÁ (1981) A native of Vsetín, she has been interested in theatre and dramatic art since childhood. That is why during her studies at the grammar school she attended acting seminars and clubs and regularly participated in the Jirásek Hronov amateur theatre festival. Here he met two director legends, Petr Lébl and J. A. Pitínský. The latter later facilitated her entry to the theatre when, after an unsuccessful admission to the DAMU in Prague, he offered her a role in the play Hotel Viktoria at the Municipal Theatre in Zlín. During her studies at the Higher Vocational School of Acting, Kristýna also guest-starred in several other productions, e.g. Christopher Columbus or the Angel's Bethlehem. After graduation, she spent three years at the Arena Chamber Theatre in Ostrava, where she had the opportunity to play a number of interesting theatre roles - e.g. in the dramatisation of Hrabal's novella I Served the King of England or Bulgakov's short story The Dog's Heart. She did not miss the classic roles such as. Hermia in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream or Panocka in the highly acclaimed production of the same name by S. P. Fedotov. From Ostrava, the actress went to Prague, where she looked for happiness as a freelancer. She smiled on her in the form of a role in the three-part detective TV series The Devil's Deceit directed by Jiří Strach, followed immediately by an offer to play the role of the spoiled nurse Kristýna Tichá in the series Ordinace in the Rose Garden. Thanks to her, Kristýna has made her name in the broad awareness of TV viewers. This was followed by roles in other TV series across TV stations and TV cartoons. She has also collaborated with Oscar-winning director Ron Howard on the biographical series Genius, depicting the lives of two great figures - painter Pablo Picasso and physicist Albert Einstein.
