From the vicar's notebook

Drawing on stories from literature, theatre, and film, priest Petr Vaňura explores themes that are relevant to us in today's world. The texts collected in this book were published from January 2022 to August 2025 in the newsletter of the Evangelical Methodist Church congregation on Husova Street in Plzeň, where Petr Vaňura was serving at the time, in a column titled From the Priest’s Notebook. Most of the texts are about books he has read, theatrical and film performances, and events that have affected him in some way.
