Gallagher Liam: Why Me? Why Not. - CD

The former frontman of the famous band Oasis has once again prepared his second solo album with Andrew Wyatt and producer Greg Kurstin, with whom he collaborated closely on the successful album As You Were. Sonically, it harks back to the legacy of bands like The Who, Led Zeppelin, and T. Rex.
The single Shockwave, for example, is a sweeping gesture from a musician who is one of the last true rock stars as the world knew them in the twentieth century.

Why Me? Why Not. is being released in several formats; in addition to the standard CD, there is also a deluxe CD version with three bonus songs, as well as black or green LP versions.

Liam Gallagher, along with his brother Noel, formed the backbone of one of the biggest bands in British history. Oasis are an island rock legend; their 1997 album Be Here Now was the fastest-selling debut in English history until November 2015, with 424,000 copies sold in the week after its release. The media across the English Channel still dreams of an Oasis reunion, but this is very unlikely given the animosity between the two brothers, who cannot stand each other. After the legend's split, Liam started his own band, Beady Eye, but it came nowhere near the success of Oasis.
