Games and Dreams - DVD

The main character of both stories is a little boy who lives in Dlážděná Street. In the first story, called Little Christmas, a boy wanders enchantingly through the city on Christmas Eve as the Christmas rush ends in the streets.

And even though he's lost, he doesn't cry. He talks to random pedestrians, plays in an abandoned Christmas market and gets homesick at the police station, where he is brought by an SNB officer. The second story, "The Lovers from the Box", takes place in summer "when the apricots are ripe". In the courtyard of the pavilion house, the movers have assembled a large box that will become a haven for lovers and two small children. A boy and a girl are playing daddy and mommy. And to stay here, they have to get married. So the little girl forces the little boy to go with her to the town hall.

Michal Staninec as the little boy managed to impress with more than just childish chatter, and the performances of the supporting characters, such as S. Neumann as a good-natured taxi driver, L. Pesek as a comedian, E. Kohout as the Indian Tondy or Martin Růžek playing an SNB officer. It is also worth noticing the unrepeatable shots of old Prague, which no longer exists today.
