Gangster Squad - Mafia Hunters - DVD

It's 1949 and Los Angeles is ruled by ruthless criminal Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn). Protecting his gang through massive corruption, police chief Bill Parker (Nick Nolte) reaches for a last resort.
He hires seasoned hero Sergeant John O'Mara (Josh Brolin) to assemble a unit capable of bringing justice through guerrilla warfare. Their job is not to arrest, but to provoke conflict. The city is soon rocked by gunfire.
Even life-weary police sergeant Jerry Wooters (Ryan Gosling) gets involved in the fighting, somewhat against his will, when he falls hopelessly in love with Grace Faraday (Emma Stone). Cohen is also making demands on this first-class beauty.
