The author is the most experienced expert in the establishment of artificial water bodies in the Czech Republic and is also recognized abroad. In this book, he uses his years of experience in setting up tanks using foil, giving advice, what you need to know, before the excavation begins, what habitat to choose, the shape and slope of the tank, how to work with the foil, illustrates with practical examples, that it is possible and easy to purify water with plants, without chemicals, that even bathing tanks can be self-cleaned in this way. Those interested will appreciate the instructions for reconstructing outdated or damaged reservoirs and for creating interconnected water bodies. It is important to know the principles of the correct balance of flora and fauna in the reservoir, for this purpose it is useful to have a description of the behaviour and needs of the fauna, and especially an alphabetical list of aquatic plants with their requirements, data on flower size, leaf area, etc.
