Get me

Nessa Hale is a hopeless romantic. During her childhood, she witnessed the beautiful loving stories of her grandparents and parents. But Nessa wasn' t so lucky. Instead, she spends her free time browsing online dating apps and going on hellish first dates in hopes of finding the right one. But when one of these encounters ends tragically, Nessa is shaken.
Ronan Crawford understands what it' s like to feel broken. As a former Marine, he still suffers from the effects of war. Making new friends and working as a security guard at the Phoenix, a secret erotic club in the heart of New York, partially restores his zest for life. When Nessa asks him to teach her the basics of self-defense, he doesn' t hesitate for a moment. He knows Nessa is suffering, and he is ready to be her safe haven.
The more time they spend together, the more Ronan and Nessa help each other. As their friendship gradually grows into something more, Ronan introduces Nessa to a world of erotic fantasies and burning desires. When Nessa finds herself in danger, Ronan vows to protect her at all costs. But only Nessa can lead Ronan out of the darkness that is slowly but surely consuming him.
