Girl Underwater

A new adventure thriller from the bestselling author of The Beast! Sloan McPherson is right at home in the water. Her father is a treasure hunter and she herself has been diving since childhood. One day, however, she finds herself not only as a witness, but more importantly as a suspect. Just as she is in the water, someone throws a murdered young girl she once knew into the canal. Her police colleagues are now watching her every move - and so is the killer! The trail leads to a drug cartel that has just had half a billion dollars and documents implicating corrupt judges and politicians disappear. And everyone wants this money and this evidence: The cartel, the police, and the federal security forces... Sloan has plenty of experience diving, but if she's not careful, her enemies will drag her underwater for good...
