Spend a year in Italy, drinking wine, travelling and meeting new friends. A trio of women who refuse to just live out their lives. They take their savings and rent an old stone house in Tuscany. Their neighbour is an American writer who is working on a biography of a close friend in the countryside. The arrival of the new residents takes her away from her work and she willingly becomes their guide to Tuscany - its sights, its sights and smells, its tasty food and good wine, its bustling markets and its shady garden.
