Gojira: LEnfant Sauvage (2x CD) - CD

It was founded by brothers Joe and Mario Duplantier in 1996. When it released its first demo, Possessed (1998), it bore its original name, Godzilla, but was renamed Gojira due to copyright disputes - the original Japanese term for the monster.
Music, which Gojira is difficult to classify, their work was influenced by names like Death, Morbid Angel, Meshuggah, Metallica, Tool, or Neurosis, which, in the imaginary box, would be a combination of Progressive Death / Thrash / Groove with elements of the avant-garde.
Their compositions are very distinctive, breaking the standards of the verse - chorus - verse type. full of breaks, unusual passages, etc. They are played both technically and melodically, which creates an amazing composition of brutality and dark melodies.
