Gorillaz: G Sides (2x LP) - LP

Gorillaz is a British band formed in 1998 by Damon Albarn of Blur and Jamie Hewlett, a graphic artist in the comic book Tank Girl.

The band consists of four virtual (comic) characters: 2D, Murdoc, Noodle and Russel. Their music is on the border of many genres, mostly they are included in the indie rock box, but their genre diversity is much greater. It ranges from pop, hip hop, electronic music to dub.

The Record Store Day (RSD) campaign, which aims to promote traditional stone shops, takes place every year on the third Saturday in April. In 2020, however, all plans by publishers, performers and retailers were changed by a coronavirus pandemic. The release was finally postponed at the turn of summer and autumn and is realized in three waves. RSD 2020 also includes a 2LP reissue of the compilation album D-Sides, which Gorillaz released in 2001.
