Göttlichová Kateřina: Chills - CD

Solo music project of singer and musician Katerina Göttlichová from the band BraAgas.
With her solo debut album, Kateřina embarks on a new musical journey, still within the boundaries of folk and ethnic music as with her other projects (BraAgas, Carnem). The multiple Anděl Award winner combines original world music, elements of electronics and lyrics of Czech folk songs in an instrumental line-up of nyckelharpa, guitar, double bass, trombone and keys. With a sensitive compositional approach, he brings new contrasts and emotional context to the themes and stories of the familiar texts. In the studio Kateřina recorded the album with Jan Balcar (guitar, strings) and David Göttlich (keyboards). Mastring was done by Pavel Karlík in Sono Records studio. The album contains 11 songs and is packaged in an exclusive fold-out digipack with velvet lamination.
