Gottwald's mummy
How many people does it take to keep one corpse alive?
Unfortunately for Ishka, this is not the beginning of an anecdote, but of her new work routine. A young widow and mother of a young boy takes a job as a cleaner in the most guarded building in Czechoslovakia - the Mausoleum of Klement Gottwald in Prague's Vítkov. The dead are laid to eternal rest here, but the living around them are under constant surveillance. Ishka fights the germs of all life every day by disinfecting them. And hers is gradually disappearing under a layer of dirt.
