Growing plants for drying

The book caters to the great popularity of dried plants, whether they are used as decoration or to scent the home. The author presents over a hundred plants, that are suitable for drying, and advises on their cultivation, informs about their requirements and reproduction, the method and ideal dates for harvesting and drying, post-harvest treatment, like dyeing, decolourisation, preparation with glycerine, drying in absorbents, in the microwave, pressing, etc. The text is supplemented by a large number of colour photographs of the plants, which give the reader an idea of what the plant looks like before and after drying. With this publication, growers don't just have to enjoy plants in the garden, but can enjoy them in the home all year round. There is no competing book by a Czech author on the market yet.
