Hastrman - DVD

A romantic and at the same time ironic story of the hastrman aka Baron de Caus ( Karel Dobrý ), whose love for the country girl Katynce ( Simona Zmrzlá ) fills with unsuspecting happiness and nourishing passion.
The Baron returns with his servant ( Jiří Lábus ) from travels around the world to restore the ponds on his estate. As a modern and enlightened person, he escapes the life of the locals. The focus of his interest will be the unrestrained and exceptional daughter of David (God) Katynka revolting against the authorities by passionate worship of nature and pagan rituals. Everyone is enchanted by the intelligent and beautiful girl, including teacher Voves and pastor Fidelius.
The closer Katynka gets to Hastrman, the more doubts grow in him as to whether, as a human in an animal and an animal in a human, this time will stand.
