He who walks with Death

A fantasy about an elderly detective who discovers the world of the strange Death and other supernatural beings. The world around us does not consist only of what is before our eyes. Certain layers are hidden from us mortals until a certain point. Like a snake, the world of Death and the dimensions of many other supernatural beings intertwine between them, who are here to serve us. Detective Sam would add that it' s pretty crap. It doesn' t occur to him that the service of Death is something we would absolutely need. Death itself would probably point out that people must die, but Sam still thinks so. Their quarrelsome relationship/disrelationship plays out the plot of this paradoxical story, where it meets closed, introverted, a grumpy human being with a talkative, by the inquisitive and almost commanding Death, who has a weakness for cabernet sauvignon. How did these two actually meet and why do they have to share moments together?
