Hidden behind a lie
Life writes different stories. Death sometimes gives them a shocking twist.
Emilia Ward lives in a quiet suburb of London. At first glance, a very ordinary wife and mother of two children is a famous writer. Just as she is writing the tenth volume of her detective series, her life takes an unexpected and dangerous turn: because a scene from her book is about to take place in reality. And then someone dies the same death as the victim in the book he's just finishing. Why is someone doing this to her? Who can know what he's writing about? And how long will it take for the perpetrator to stage the final plot of her dark story?
Another compelling and suspenseful thriller from popular author Claire Douglas.
