Himesh Patel: Yesterday (2x LP) - LP

Yesterday is the soundtrack to the film of the same name, starring Himesh Patel and Lily James. The film comes from the creators of the box office hit Slumdog Millionaire.

Highly successful singer-songwriter Jack (Himesh Patel) wants to hang up his guitar for good because, no matter what he does, his only audience is his best friend Ellie (Lily James). However, Jack is then hit by a bus under mysterious circumstances. During a party held to celebrate his recovery, he strums the famous Beatles song 'Yesterday' on his guitar, and his friends react as if they've heard it for the very first time. The internet reacts in the same way. It's as if The Beatles never existed, and Jack senses an opportunity that culminates in him opening for Ed Sheeran (who plays himself in the film). However, Jack's joy is soured by two small things – the knowledge that he is committing fraud and the loss of a heartbroken Ellie.
