Hlavenková Beata, Török Oskar: Sně - LP

On her fifth album, pianist and composer Beata Hlavenková introduces herself for the first time as a singer. Her main musical partner in the creation of the album was Oskar Török, here not only in her traditional role as a trumpet player, but also as a drummer, percussionist and singer.
The title SNĚ concisely describes what the album contains and what it consists of: poems, songs, dreams. Beata set to music the poems of her favorite authors Petr Borkovec and Bohuslav Reynek, provided two songs with her own lyrics, and Dorota Barová and Martin Vedej are represented one by one.
On the SNĚ album, Beata preferred the song form, and her work thus deviates even more and almost completely from the boundaries of jazz in which she once moved, towards contemporary supra-genre songwriting. However, her characteristic and unique handwriting remains.
