Horrors with TGM

An imaginative collection of horror

Screenwriter, publicist, and stand-up comedian Jan Studnička wrote an original collection of short stories in which he set a clear, yet ambitious goal. Look back at the classics of horror and Czech literature and tell terrifying stories set in modern Czech history in their style.
Horrors with TGM are such an imaginative collection of terrifying stories referring to H. P. Lovecraft, Karel Čapek, but also contemporary zombie horror films or short stories by Šimek and Grossmann. What happens when a zombie outbreak breaks out at a party at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival? How will the Šumava border guards handle a UFO crash into no-man' s land on the border with Germany? Will Josef Švejk talk the stubbornly silent occultist into talking and help clarify the mystery plaguing the Austro-Hungarian gendarmes? What terrifying secret lies hidden deep in the Hranice abyss, the bottom of which has not yet been discovered? And what would a war with salamanders look like if soldiers had Krakatit, Absolute, and battle airships at their disposal?
You can find answers to these questions and more in the stories, which Saša Rašilov brilliantly read with a sense of drama and humor.
