House in the bay

What's it like to come home for the first time in your life?

Lucy fulfills her mother's last wish and returns to her hometown in Virginia. For her, the cross-country journey means a chance for a new, better life. She received an unexpected inheritance in the form of a property called Winter Villa. It's not a half-decayed house, as she expected, but a big house with the ravages of time on it. A mansion with many nooks and crannies that hide the secrets, passions and betrayals of several generations. And Lucy hopes that this is where she might find the answer to the question her mother never answered. Who's her father?

He will only get his inheritance if he meets a few conditions, otherwise the next in line of heirs, the charismatic Hank, will come forward. So she's determined to do whatever it takes to keep the house. She is helped by the whole town, which quickly takes a liking to her. Lucy learns more about her family's history, but mostly about herself. During her search for her ancestors, she finds something she hasn't had before; home, family and love.
